You start your car and back out of the driveway, but before you reach the next intersection, you realize that your radio, power windows, air-conditioning, and other essential amenities are not functioning the way they should. This often signals the demise of the constant control relay module, or CCRM. This part houses numerous relays for the essential functions of your car, from the fuel pump to the powertrain control module.
Constant Control Relay Module. The CCRM is underneath the intake housing about where the filter is. The actual relay itself is located at the base of the strut tower.
Otherwise, GO to HU1 for air restriction. DRIVE vehicle time. If vehicle is still a No Start, GO exercising the throttle.
The CCRM is located directly beneath the air filter housing. The mounting bracket which retains the air filter housing also retains the CCRM. Hi and lo relays are inside box.
Ed answered 4 months ago. I'm guessing you weren't looking at your warning lights. The rubber smell was probably the engine overheating from the up hill stress; that's why the cooling system had room for water, and why you felt a power loss.
